Connect Claude
Add autolink to Claude as a custom connector.
Quick way
- Open Connections in autolink and click Connect Claude in browser.
- Claude opens with the name and the autolink URL already filled in. Continue.
- Sign in to autolink, choose the organization and click Allow access.
- Back in Claude, ask "How many cars do I have?".
Set up manually
If the dialog is not pre-filled:
- In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Enter the name
autolinkand paste the MCP server URL from the Connections page. - Click Add, sign in to autolink and allow access.
The same steps work in the Claude desktop and mobile apps, signed in with the same account. Anthropic's own guide: Add a connector that isn't in the directory.
Disconnect
Click Disconnect on the Connections page. To finish, also remove the autolink connector in Claude (Customize, then Connectors).
Troubleshooting
- "Can't reach a local address": Claude connects from Anthropic's servers, so the URL must be public and use https.
- Access denied or blocked: the request did not come from Claude. Start again from the Connections page.
- Two-factor sign-in: accounts with two-factor authentication cannot connect yet.
